From July 19 to July 21, 2024, our company held a vibrant and engaging outdoor team-building event, taking us to the beautiful city of Qingyuan in Guangdong, approximately 150 kilometers from our company. Our activities were centered around the picturesque Senbola Tourism Resort Forest Park, where we enjoyed a variety of team-building exercises and leisure activities.
Day 1: Culinary Competition and Leisure Activities
Our journey began with a warm welcome as we arrived at our accommodation, two luxurious villas equipped with modern amenities such as swimming pools, pool tables, BBQ facilities, and KTV rooms. After settling in and unpacking, we dove straight into our first major activity: a culinary competition.
Employees were divided into two teams, and each participant prepared their specialty dish, showcasing their culinary talents. This friendly competition fostered teamwork and creativity, as everyone shared their delicious creations and enjoyed a diverse feast together.
Following the culinary competition, the evening was dedicated to free-time activities. Colleagues had the option to sing their hearts out in the KTV rooms, take a dip in the pool, or engage in lively card games. This relaxed atmosphere allowed everyone to unwind and enjoy each other’s company in a casual setting.
Day 2: Adventures at Senbola Tourism Resort Forest Park
The second day was packed with adventure and excitement as we headed to the nearby Senbola Tourism Resort Forest Park. The park offered a variety of thrilling activities that brought out the adventurous spirit in all of us.
We began with a challenging yet fun game of crossing the single-plank bridge, followed by exhilarating bumper car rides and heart-pounding roller coaster experiences. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the boating activity. Teams competed in a playful water battle, splashing and strategizing to soak their opponents. This activity was not only entertaining but also strengthened our teamwork and camaraderie.
After a full day of adventures, we returned to our villas to rest and recharge. In the evening, we enjoyed a BBQ dinner, savoring grilled delicacies while sharing stories and laughter. The night continued with more leisure activities, allowing us to further bond and create lasting memories.
Day 3: Relaxation and Return
On the final day of our trip, we gathered to prepare lunch together, reflecting on the fun and meaningful experiences of the past two days. After a hearty meal, we packed our belongings and tidied up the villas.
As we made our way back to the company, there was a sense of fulfillment and renewed energy among us. The trip not only provided a refreshing break from our routine work but also strengthened our team spirit and collaboration.
This unforgettable trip to Qingyuan was a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and team-building. It allowed us to connect on a deeper level, fostering stronger relationships and enhancing our teamwork skills.
